


The Ruff Ryders Indie branch was managed by Joaquin 'Waah" Dean, While the Born Ryders branch was managed by Darrin "Dee" Dean.

Along with the relaunch came the birth of two sub labels, Ruff Ryders indie and Born Ryders. In 2010 the Dean along with other label partners announced a relaunch of the label that would put the labels primary focus on staying indie. Miraculously Dean pulled through and recovered and eventually resumed his career in the music industry. In the early 2000's dean suffered extreme injuries from a motorcycle accident which would impact his career in the music industry. Dean's nephew, Swizz Beatz, was also signed to the label as an artist and in house producer. Throughout the labels existence Dean signed artist such as Eve, Drag-On, Cassidy and Jin who were all successful. Shortly after the success of DMX's 1st release, Dean along with his brother Joaquin "Waah" Dean and sister Chivon Dean decided to turn the management company into a Record label. The management turned Record Label was home to DMX and the LOX. 3 Former artists under Dean's Ruff Ryders Labelĭarrin "Dee" Dean began in the entertainment business by starting Ruff Ryders Entertainment as management company.
